We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) to provide individualized instruction to preschool-aged children with developmental delays or disabilities in their natural learning environments—homes, daycare centers, or preschools. This role is essential to fostering inclusive education and empowering families across Staten Island

• Deliver 1:1 instruction aligned with each child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Collaborate with families, classroom teachers, and related service providers
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate learning strategies
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation for DOE compliance
• Participate in CPSE meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain timely electronic billing and progress reporting
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions

• Master’s Degree in Special Education (Birth–Grade 2)
• New York State Certification in Special Education
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in diverse settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel within Staten Island, especially the 10312 area
• Familiarity with DOE systems and electronic documentation platforms preferred
